TJG annual plant sale this week
The annual plant sale at Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County will be
held Thursday, May 11, from 3 to 7 pm; Friday, May 12, from 9 am to 6 pm; and
Saturday, May 13, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. Annuals, vegetables and perennials
will be available for sale to the public.
The sale will take place at the gardens at 201 East Lincoln Way, Jefferson.
The Thomas Jefferson Gardens are awakening from winter “slumber” and will
soon be bursting with bloom. In a convenient location on the square, it’s
easy to get a “garden fix” at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens. Various
features include a prairie garden, farmers’ garden, rose garden, children’s
garden and raised beds filled with unique annuals and herbs. Outdoor musical
instruments are also a popular attraction, especially with children.
